Frank R. Nashlund, age 91, of Berlin died February 3, 2013, at Theda Clark Medical Center. Frank was born on October 26, 1921, the son of the late George and Anna Nashlund. Frank married Ida Mae Beane on July 23, 1960; she preceded Frank in death in 1992.
Frank was a long time member and past Commander of VFW Post 2925.
Dear Dad of Donald (Ikuko) Beane of Appleton, loving Grandpa of, Daniel (Sarah) Beane of Greenfield, Sandra (Bill) Leen of Apache Junction, AZ., and Sheila (Bill) Dennis, of Walnut Cove, N.C. Frank is further survived by 8 great grandchildren, his niece Ginny, and 2 nephews.
Frank was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Ida Mae, and his siblings.
Visitation will be held on February 11, 2013, at 10:00 AM at Lake View Memorial Park, 2786 Algoma Blvd. Oshkosh, until time of memorial service at 11:00 AM with Pastor Jo Ann Schoblaski officiating. Inurnment with military honors will follow the service. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to either VFW Post 2925 in Berlin, or the Federated Church of Berlin, 192 E. Huron St., Berlin, WI. 54923.
