Franklin "Frank" C. Owen, age 50, of Oshkosh, died at home surrounded by the love of his family and friends on January 19, 2005. He was born February 9, 1954, in the Madison Area, Wisconsin, the son of Vincent and Arlene (Anderson) Owen. He has lived in the Fox Valley area for many years and was employed by the Banta Corporation. Frank enjoyed sports of all kinds and will be remembered as a jokester who was kind hearted, easy going, and just a super nice guy.
He is survived by sister, Janet Kaye (Harvey) Sample of Freewater, Oregon; his brothers, Dave (Betty) Owen, Dennis Owen, and Robert Owen all of New Glarus; foster brother, Joe Lenz of Green Lake; special friends, Deborah Tesseniar of Oshkosh, Gregory Hatch of Madison, Fred (Michelle) Abler of Wisconsin Dells, Margo Taylor of Fond du Lac and Dion Buelow of Fond du Lac.
All who knew Frank are invited to come help celebrate his life on Sunday, January 23, 2005 from 12 noon to 5 p.m. at Handle's, 413 Ohio St. in Oshkosh, WI. A memorial has been established.
