Gail W. Luethi, age 90, of Oshkosh, passed away on Tuesday, April 1, 2014, at Century Oaks in the loving presence of his family. Born on November 30, 1923, in Whitehall, Wisconsin, the son of William and Albertina (Schultz) Luethi, Gail married Dorothy Boltz on June 4, 1945, in Waumandee, Wisconsin.
Employed by Garden Valley Co-op for many years, Gail was an avid trout fisherman and also enjoyed woodworking. His family was a very important part of GailÂ's life.
Survivors include his wife of 68 years, Dorothy Luethi of Oshkosh; two daughters, Luanne (Mike) Gospodarek of Oshkosh and Lois (Michael) Hudson of Lancaster, Wisconsin; five grandchildren, Scott (Julia Richards) Gospodarek, Angela (Nathan Henderson) Gospodarek, Misty (Kris) Notstad, Matthew Hudson, and Jeffrey (Kari) Hudson; and nine great-grandchildren, Reed, Graham, Finn Henderson; Devin and Brielle Notstad; Keane and Gabriel Hudson; and Brynn and Ella Hudson. Preceding Gail in death are his parents and all his brothers and sisters.
It was GailÂ's wish that no formal services be held at this time. A sincere thank you to Dr. Alzoubi and his staff, Century Oaks staff, and the staff of Heartland Hospice for the care given to Gail during his illness, it will always be remembered by his family.
