Obituary
Gary Lloyd Boreen, age 82, passed away on April 20, 2025, with his family by his side. He was born on February 8, 1943, to parents, Floyd H. and Doris (Woodworth) Boreen in Oshkosh, WI.
He graduated in the last class of Oshkosh High School in 1961. After high school, he went into the National Guard and also worked for Oshkosh B' Gosh in the office. In 1968, he met the love of his life, Yvonne Moore and they married on May 23, 1970, at Southside Baptist Church. Together, they raised one child, Becky Jo.
Gary enjoyed fishing, hunting, and attending Green Bay Packer games. He was also a huge Western Fan, and he would attend the annual Hodag in Rhinelander. He will be remembered most for being very strong, practical and loving.
He is survived by his wife, Yvonne Boreen; daughter, Becky Jo (John) Dorn; grandchildren, Shawn and Cory Dorn; and sister, Beverly Bottcher.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Floyd H. and Doris (Woodworth) Boreen; and brother-in-law, Tom Bottcher.
Per his wishes, no formal services will be held.
