Gary L. Meinen Sr., age 75, passed away with his wife by his side on February 25, 2025, in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. He was born on July 20, 1949, to parents, Clarence and Betty (Murphy) Meinen, in Oshkosh, Wisconsin.
After graduating from Oshkosh High School, he went into the United States Army, where he proudly served from 1969-1975. He then worked for 40+years at the Leach Company, doing quality assurance in automotive manufacturing. On December 26, 1997, he married Vickie Clark in Oshkosh, Wisconsin.
When he wasn't working, he could be found pouring cement, building chimneys or trimming trees. He was always a "hands on" type of guy and had an excellent work ethic. Gary will be remembered for being a dedicated father, being reliable and a teddy bear under the surface.

Per his wishes, no formal service will be held.
The family would like to thank Compassus Hospice for their care and compassion for the nine months of service they provided.
