Gary Thomas Nolan, 76, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on June 19, 2025, due to heart failure. Gary was born on March 13, 1949, to his parents, Carroll and Angeline (Rieland) Nolan. He graduated from New London Senior High and pursued a radiology fellowship at Theda-Care-Neenah. For over 20 years, Gary was beloved by patients and staff and was a favorite among area Radiologists. Gary was recruited by GE Medical and served as a Clinical Support Manager, serving hospital professionals throughout the USA until his retirement in 2012.
Gary developed a personal relationship with Christ as an active member of Calvary SonRise Church in Oshkosh. His mentoring and spiritual growth grew with the help of Pastor Clint and other members of his bible study group.
He was blessed with special gifts, including a talent for photography. Gary had the eye of an artist, and his photos remain a source of pride for family members, taken in their youth. Many friends and clients sought his services for special events and weddings. Gary blessed family members with video archives that always included music that stirred the soul. His work will carry on for generations.
Retirement life was more complete because of numerous occasions shared with his boys, Ryan and Chris. From Brewer games, Packer games, fishing trips, and card games, the boys made life fun and filled with memories for a lifetime. Gary was a friend to all. His path was designed perfectly, and he walked the walk with dignity and character.
Preceding his death were his parents, Carroll and Angelin; sister, Cheri (Endres); and brother, Bob Nolan. Gary is survived by his sons, Ryan (Patty Nolan) and Chris Nolan; along with his sister, Laurie (Randy Miller); and his brother, Dave (Christine) Nolan, as well as his sister-in-law, Rita Nolan; and the mother of his Children, Linda Nolan, and his special friend and brother-in-law, Jerry Endres.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 12, 2025, at Calvary SonRise Chapel, 222 Church Ave., Oshkosh, WI, from 11:00am to 12:00pm, with service to follow at 12:00pm.
In lieu of flowers, please feel free to make donations to the Calvary SonRise Mission Fund in his honor.
The family would like to thank the local EMS team, and the unknown bystander that gave Gary CPR diligently, as well as the doctors and nurses at Aurora Hospital-Oshkosh for all of their efforts.
