Geneva J. Dreyer, age 81, of Oshkosh, died Tuesday morning, February 22, 2017, with her family by her side at her home. Born on September 13, 1935, in Oshkosh, the daughter of George and Ruby (Look) Griedl, Geneva married Carl F. Dreyer Jr. on June 20, 1953 in Oshkosh. A true Wisconsinite, Geneva enjoyed watching the Packers and Badgers. She was known to play a little Bingo in her time. Her grandchildren were very special to her as were her two companion dogs, Buttons and Katie. Survivors include her three children, Becky (Dennis) Stark, Scott Dreyer, and Michelle (David) Rueger; three grandchildren, Eric Rueger, Bradley Rueger, and Michael Rueger; a niece, Kelly Jean Walker and her children, Evan, Dylan, and Jesse Walker. Preceding Geneva in death is her husband, Carl F. Dreyer, her parents, mother and father-in-law, a sister, Nancy Harvey, a brother-in-law, Gerald Dreyer, and a sister-in-law, Joan Pasty Dreyer. Visitation will be held on Saturday, march 4, 2017, from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. with a service starting at 11:30 a.m. in Lake View Memorial Park Chapel, 2786 Algoma Blvd., Oshkosh. The family would like to thank Dr. Karen Gremminger and all of the hospice caregivers.
