Gerald P. Hannan, age 68, of Oshkosh, passed away on Monday, November 30, 2015, at home. Jerry was born in Oshkosh, WI, the son of George and Beatrice (Teela) Hannan, on January 15, 1947. On July 1, 2006, he married Aimee Cartwright on the deck of their home in Oshkosh. Jerry attended Oshkosh High School, and later served his country in the Army, Special Forces in Vietnam and Germany. He loved hunting of any kind, fishing/sturgeon spearing, trapshooting, and playing cribbage with his buddies. Jerry enjoyed spending time with his family and grandchildren, and loved the lake view and sunsets looking out the patio window from his favorite chair.Jerry is survived by his wife, Aimee; his children, Roxee L. (Kevin Noffke) Malnory, of Winneconne, and Shane (Sharon) Malnory, of Oshkosh; step-children, Sara Cartwright, of Winneconne, and Michael Cartwright, of Montana; grandchildren, Tatum Malnory, of Oshkosh, and Bentley Schmidt, of Winneconne; brother, Mark (Barb) Hannan; aunt, Ruth Ann Elliott, of Oshkosh; brother-in-law, David Barter, of Oshkosh, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Tom Hannan; mother and father-in-law, Harold and Carol Barter; and sister-in-law, Christie Bathke.In honor of Jerry's wishes, there will be no funeral service. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date, and a memorial in Jerry's name is being established. Jerry's family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Hospice Advantage, specifically Dr. Kirtida Ringwala. His children wish to thank Aimee for all her loving care of Jerry over the years.
