Gisela "Geezy" Margarete Sielemann (nee Birgel), passed away on October 23, 2026. Born on May 19, 1929, in Allenstein, Germany, to Paul and Margarete (nee Wedig) Birgel, she immigrated to the USA in 1951.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Werner; parents; sister and in-laws.
She is survived by her children, Steven Sielemann (Susan Tuchscherer), Karin Kahler (Nate) and Susan Holmes (Ron); grandchildren; great-grandchildren and relatives in Canada and Germany.
The family would like to thank the staff at Evergreen. Thank you to Moments Hospice, especially Mary, Marissa and Allison for their dedication, compassion and loving care. Your kindness will always be remembered.
