Gladys K. Harrison, age 97, of Oshkosh, died June 16, 2012, at Oakwood Manor. Gladys was born on September 26, 1914, in Oshkosh, the daughter of Herman and Hilda (Johnson) Wahlgren. Gladys married Raymond Harrison on April 22, 1936, at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church. Raymond preceded Gladys in death in April of 1986.
Gladys is survived by her daughters, Nancy (David) Mishlove, Chicago, IL, Brenda (Richard) Reinke, Lake Park, GA; and her son, Ronald (Sandra) Harrison, Clayton, N.C. She is further survived by her brother, Harry Wahlgren, Oshkosh; 10 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren, and daughter in law, Violet Harrison, San Diego, CA.
Gladys was preceded in death by her parents, her son, Larry Harrison; her granddaughter, Jennifer Deplewski, and five brothers.
Gladys was a life time member of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, and was an active member of Martha's Circle. Gladys was a homemaker who enjoyed reading, traveling, and flea marketing.
The family will greet family and friends on June 20, 2012, at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 808 N. Main St., Oshkosh, visitation from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Jennifer Czarnota officiating. Internment Lake View Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, or Heartland Hospice.
