Glenn Sponable, 75, passed away unexpectedly in Green Lake, WI on January 8, 2024. He was born in Adams County, Wisconsin on October 28, 1948 to Exelda (Winchester) and William Sponable.
On October 14, 1988 he married the love of his life, Geraldine Radke, together they loved going on road trips to the casino, and going out dancing. Glenn enjoyed hunting, bowling, darts, softball, going out to eat, and most of all spending time with his family. He also enjoyed reading his Sunday paper and watching the Packers play. He worked for the Berlin Foundry for over 20 years and went on to work at Oshkosh Coil and Spring and then for the City of Oshkosh.
He is survived by his children, Glenn (Zina) Sponable, and Julie Sauer; grandchildren, Crystal (Jessey) Rodencal, Gloria Sanque, Jessica Cross, Victoria Sanque, Rachel (Justin Thayse) Sauer, and Rebekah Sauer; great-grandchildren, Jasmin Rodencal, Jaida Rodencal, Josiah Rodencal, Liana Regester, Joshua Cross, Xaniah McCain, Kiana Pacheco, Arianna Pacheco, Lia Sanque-Harris and Easton Sanque-Harris; siblings, Robert Sponable, Casey Sponable, Dennis Cochrane, Roger Cochrane, Joyce Wilson and Alice Cochrane.
Glenn is preceded by his wife, Geraldine; parents, William and Exelda; sisters, Doris Hanson, Marilyn Loging, and Patricia Stickles.
A celebration of life will be held on April 20, 2024 at 11:30AM, at the VFW building, 420 N. Wisconsin Street, Berlin, WI.
