Lifetime resident of Oshkosh, Gloria Lucile Miller passed peacefully in her sleep Wednesday, April 11, 2018. She was born April 8, 1936 to William T. and Rosalie L. (Miller) Suckow and graduated Oshkosh High School June 1953.
Gloria married Donald G. Miller August 20, 1955 and was later married to Frank C. Olsen May 24, 1973.
In her earlier years Gloria was employed with the Oshkosh Camp Fire Girls, Shadbolt & Boyd, Klein Dickert, Mercy Medical Center, Sentry Foods and the EAA. She enjoyed being active in many local organizations through the years.
Gloria is survived by her children Gail (Jeffrey) Miller, William (Deanne) Miller and Lisa (Richard) Stiebs, stepchildren Robert (Grace) Olsen, Susan and Patricia Olsen, grandchildren Alisha and Bikela Asfaw, Justin Coombs, Chaé and Mackenzie Miller, Megan, Claire and Katelyn Miller, Spencer and Parker Stiebs, Jonathan, Samuel and Kathryn Olsen, and great grandchildren Isaiah, Dominick and Maleah Asfaw and Arianna Coombs-Stiebs. She is also survived by nieces Stephanie (Frank Nichols) Johnson and Kimberly (Robert) Lewis.
She was preceded in death by daughter Susan (Gudetta) Asfaw, sisters Mary (Kenneth) Hejdak and Janet (Keith) Johnson and her parents.
A lifelong member of First English Lutheran Church, 1013 Minnesota Street, Oshkosh, funeral services will be held Friday, April 20, 2018 at 11 am. Visitation will be held from 9 am until time of service. Burial will take place graveside at Lakeside Cemetery in Oshkosh.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund will be established to benefit the Warming Shelter, as per Gloria's wishes.
