Obituary
Gloria Smith, age 66, went home to be with the Lord on December 19, 2011. Gloria was born on
July 7, 1945, the daughter of Emmitt & Mable (McDuffie) Ballard; married to Danny Smith for 31 years.
Gloria was preceded in death by her two granddaughters Hope and Patience Hansen, parents Emmitt Ballard & Mabel Smith, Bill & Ruth Hickman, sister Betty Pollard, in-laws Lonnie & Roberta Smith.
She is survived by her four children; Danny Jr (DJ) & Sherilyn Smith of Englewood, CO, Angela & Charles Waters of Neenah, WI, Sharon & Jerry Whitley of Lonsdale, AR, Cynthia & Scott Hansen of Oconto, WI. Also survived by 16 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, sisters Patsy "Pat" & Omer Miller, Clovis & Hans Pranschke, brother, Royce Ballard, and her nieces and nephews.
Memorial service to be held on Friday, December 23, 2011 at Apostolic Truth Church, 2720 Kesting Court, Appleton, WI from 1-3 with Rev. Danny Smith of Denison, TX, Rev. Jerry Whitley of Bryant, AR and Rev. Aaron Soto of Appleton, WI presiding.
