Gordon "Red" W. Wischow, age 81, of Oshkosh, passed away at Park View Health Center on Wednesday, July 12, 2017. He was born in Winneconne on February 5, 1936, the son of the late Charles and Marjorie (Cyrtmus) Wischow. On April 26, 1958 he married his wife of 59 years, Jacqueline Doemel at St. Paul United Church of Christ, Oshkosh. Red operated a forklift at Pluswood Industries for 36 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, and more recently enjoyed playing slots at the casino. He was a member of the Otter Street Fishing Club. Red will be remembered for being a devoted husband and loving father. Red is survived by his wife, Jacqueline; daughter, Pamela Adair of St. Augustine, FL; son, Charles (Polly) Wischow of Green Bay; grandchildren: Michael Anderson of Oshkosh, Brandon (Trinity Pulvermacher) Wischow of Madison, Steven and Ryan Wischow, both of Green Bay, daughter-in-law, Roberta "Bert" Wischow of Beaver Dam; brother-in-law, David Brennand of Winneconne; sister-in-law, Joyce Clark; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his son, Gordy; sisters: Irene Brennand and Phyllis Rosenthal; and son-in-law, Robert Adair. No funeral services will be held per Red's wishes.
