Gregory A. Revord, age 38 of Appleton, passed away Monday June 2, 2008
at Brewster Village with his family by his side. Greg was born in
Lawton, Oklahoma on January 18, 1970 son of Alan and Christine Revord (Holmes). A
lover of the outdoors, Greg enjoyed hunting and fishing in the north
woods with his dad, Alan Revord, who preceded him in death. Prior to developing MS, spent his outdoor time hiking, white-water rafting, skiing and partying with his many friends. Greg was an avid fan, surrounding himself with everything Packer, andnever missing a game! His unending optimism and the way he embraced each day with an infectious smile have touched everyone who had the pleasure of his company. Some of those closest to him had this to say:
"We learned together that the greatest gifts life has to offer come
disguised as insurmountable challenges" Diane Revord, wife. "My dad taught me
to keep a smile on my face even through hard times" Hanna Revord,
daughter. "He taught me to love life, to not be afraid of the dark, and to not stand next to a frozen pond in a bathrobe" Sara Revord, sister. "I
loved thinking of new ways to make him laugh" Maddie Schweitzer,
niece. "He was a constant source of inspiration in my life and I was proud to stand next to him and be his favorite cousin" Traci Blondeau, cousin. "He taught me to start every day with a smile, has shown me what true bravery is, and I'll take 2nd favorite cousin
any day of the week" Amber Genovese, cousin. In addition to those quoted, he is survived by his mother Christine Revord, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and friends.
