Helen Juanita Tank (Riesland), age 64, of Omro, passed away on Tuesday, January 5, 2016 after a long struggle with Multiple Sclerosis and liver cancer. She was born in Rock Hill, SC on September 5, 1951the daughter of the late Benjamin and Marjorie (Wheeler) Riesland. On September 17, 1982 she married Gary Tank in Oshkosh. Helen loved to go fishing, gold panning with her husband, and crafting. She loved to be on the phone with her son who was an on the road trucker, and with her daughter, who enjoyed her "coffee talk" while the Packers were playing. She will be missed by her spoiled "children," Penny Sue and Baby Bear. She enjoyed playing Bingo, Pogo and numerous Facebook games with her online friends. Christmas and country music were among Helen's favorite pastimes. The one thing that always made her happy and smile was the chance to spend time with her amazing grandchildren. Helen is survived by her husband, Gary G. Tank; son, Neal K. (Rhonda) Spoor, Jr; daughter, Michelle L. (Michael) Jeske, five grandchildren: Johnathan, Timothy, Alex and Alen Jeske, and Alyssa Spoor; brother, Daniel (Kathy) Riesland; sisters: Darlene (Steve) Potter and Joyce Clayton; and several nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Janet (Bill) Jones. Visitation Saturday, January 16, 2016 will start at 11:00 a.m. with the memorial service to follow at 1:00 p.m. at Lakeview Memorial Park, 2786 Algoma Blvd., Oshkosh.The family extends a special thank you to the entire staff at Northpoint Medical and Rehabilitation Center, especially Nurse Jim Waterman and the numerous CNA's on the fourth wing. Further, thank you to Dr. Brennan for all the love and kindness shown to Helen and her family.
