Irene C. Zweck

Irene “Mom” C. Zweck, age 84, passed away with family by her side on October 26, 2026, in Oshkosh, WI. She was born on March 3, 1942, to parents, Adrian and Mable (Graper) Brown, in Wisconsin.
Irene grew up in a very large family, being one of 9 children. She learned early on that she loved to care for others and that family and friends were her whole world.
She married the love of her life, Delmer Eugene Zweck Sr., and they started their own family, and she went into healthcare and ultimately became a dietary aid. Irene recently retired from Evergreen Manor, in Oshkosh.
In her free time, she enjoyed completing puzzles, listening to polka and country music, working in her garden and was always having a beautiful bird to tend to.
She is survived by her sons, Joseph, Johnny, Charles, Delmar Jr. and their significant others; daughters, Clara, Sandy, Dorothy, Judy and their significant others; stepdaughters, Debbie, Brenda and Gisele and their significant others; as well as over 20 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren; siblings, Henry, Rick, Betty, Kathy, Edna, Dorothy, Ruthie; along with many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Preceding her in death was her husband, Delmer Zweck Sr.; her parents; and her sister, Cindy.
A private gathering has taken place. Her final resting place will be at Lake View Memorial Cemetery, in Oshkosh, WI.
The family would like to thank all of the medical staff at Aurora Hospital and Aurora Hospice, especially Tyler, that helped Mom transition and helped the family during this difficult time.
