Jack Randall Imes, 65, passed away peacefully on December 14, 2024, at Aspire Senior Living Center in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. Born on September 16, 1959, in Muncie, Indiana, Jack lived a life filled with faith, joy, and an enduring love for family and friends.
Jack graduated from Purdue University with a degree in chemical engineering, embarking on a career that reflected his intelligence and determination. On August 28, 2004, he married Cristiane De Oliveira, a union that blessed him with two daughters, Ana and Julia, who were the lights of his life. Together, they built a beautiful family and shared countless moments of joy.
Jack's life was marked by a playful spirit and the gift of laughter. He lit up every room he entered, spreading joy with his warm personality and infectious humor. True to his belief that "Whomever is happy will make others happy," Jack made it his mission to brighten the lives of everyone around him.
A lifelong motorsports enthusiast, Jack faithfully attended the Indianapolis 500 for over 40 years, a tradition that brought him immense happiness. He also loved playing cards, listening to music, traveling and shooting pool.
Jack's strong faith in the Lord was the cornerstone of his life, providing him with strength, purpose, and peace. His unwavering devotion inspired all who knew him and shaped the foundation of his legacy.
Jack is survived by his beloved daughters, Ana and Julia Imes; and their mother, Cristiane De Oliveira Imes; his brothers, Victor (Tammie) Imes and Peter (Tammy) Imes; and a special cousin, Lisa (Scott) Sprinkles. He was preceded in death by his parents, Philip and Adelia Imes.
A celebration of Jack's life will take place at 2:00 PM on Saturday, January 4, 2025, at Fox Cities Funeral Home, 3026 Jackson Street, Oshkosh, WI 54901. Pastor Skip will officiate the service.
