Obituary
James "Jim" M. Ward, 76, passed away in Oshkosh, WI on December 9, 2023. He was born in Wauwatosa, WI to parents, Marvin and Mabel (Kolgen) Ward on March 6, 1947.
Jim proudly served his nation's Air Force from April 1966 until April 1969. On November 9, 1985, he married Julie Newton and together they shared 38 years of marriage. He enjoyed taking care of his yard and enjoyed animals. He will be remembered for his humor.
He is survived by his wife, Julie Ward; brothers-in-law, Ken (Lynn) Newton and David (Kelly) Newton; sisters-in-law, Mary Kay (Mark) Zuge, Jeanne Fredrick and Kristine (Paul) Nitz; and the beloved family cat, Charlie. He is further survived by many nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.
Preceding him in death, his parents, Marvin and Mabel; and Julie's parents, Robert and Mary Newton.
A private service has been held.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Ascension Mercy and the staff of PCU2.
