James F. "Fritz" Witkowski, age 85, of Oshkosh, passed away with his family by his side on Wednesday, March 30, 2016. He was born in Oshkosh on March 8, 1931 the son of the late Harry and Lucille (Radtke) Witkowski. James was proud to serve in the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict. On November 21, 1954 he married his wife of 61 years, Rosemary Williams. After the conflict he worked for his parent's bar and restaurant, The Hour, and later became a business manager for Oshkosh Clinic and Naples Medical Center in Naples, FL. James is survived by his wife, Rosemary; and daughter, Cindy (Peter) Pischke. He was preceded in death by his brothers: Jerome (Betsy) Witkowski and Andrew Witkowski. A private burial with military honors will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Oshkosh. The family extends a special thank you to Lakeshore Manor for their wonderful care.
