Obituary

Jane E. Josephson, 75, passed away on August 3, 2026. She was born on August 13, 1950, to the late Carrol and Elaine (Steinhilber) Josephson.

Jane graduated from Oshkosh High School in 1968. During her younger years, she was involved in A Capella choir and participated in the Miss Oshkosh pageant. She enjoyed working on her family farm and singing in the silos. Jane also enjoyed spending time in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, where she made a lifelong friend.

Jane loved staying active and was an avid softball player, playing for Tommy’s Angellets in Oshkosh and later in the Redgranite softball league. She was also an avid bowler at Jerry’s Bowling Lanes. She worked at several restaurants throughout the area before owning and operating JJ’s Park Place Restaurant for 10 years. She was also employed by Bemis, Kwik Trip and Menards.

Jane had a lifelong passion for horses and was involved in 4-H in Waushara County. She especially enjoyed horse competitions and loved watching her daughter compete. She enjoyed traveling, going to the gym, camping, Packer parties and spending time with family and friends.

Above all, Jane cherished the time she spent with her grandson, Ryder. He was the light of her life and a constant source of joy and pride. She talked about him often and loved sharing stories about him with anyone who would listen. Her love for her grandson was evident to everyone who knew her.

Jane treasured the many friendships she made throughout her life in Oshkosh and Redgranite. She also spent much of her time involved with her Church, where she enjoyed singing and volunteering.

Jane is survived by her two children, Lee Clark and Amy Clark (Joe); and grandson, Ryder Clark; her sisters, Trudy Josephson, Betty (Jerry) Keene, and Joy Smith (Dennis); her nieces, Heather Thorson, Angela (Erik) Folske, Elizabeth and Dominica (Michael) Smith; her nephews, Dewey (Cheryl) Josephson II, Alex and Kyle (Rong) Keene; and many other cousins and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Dewey Josephson.
