Jane E. Koebke (Plummer)
October 11, 1950 – December 20, 2024
It is with great sadness, while surrounded by her loving family, that Jane Koebke, age 74, peacefully passed away, at Aurora Medical Center, in Oshkosh, on Friday, December 20, 2024.
Jane was born in Fond du Lac WI on October 11, 1950 to parents, Jack and Joan Plummer (Friedel) and they moved to Oshkosh, shortly thereafter.
Jane attended St Mary's grade school and was a 1968 Lourdes Academy graduate. She worked in local healthcare facilities, as a head cook, retiring in 2020, from Nova Counseling.
She married the love of her life, Fabian Koebke, on April 4, 2003 and they enjoyed 21 wonderful years together, before her passing.
Jane took great joy, in being a devoted wife, a loving mom and a doting grandma, along with sharing fun times and her unforgettable laugh, with her sisters, at area casinos. She was always asked to bring some of her delicious recipes to our family gatherings. She was indeed, a great cook!!
Jane is survived by her loving husband, Fabian; her caring son, Troy (David) Thielen; her precious grandchildren, Jaxon and Olivia Thielen; and her stepson, Joey Koebke. She is also survived by her best friend/sister, Sue (Herb) Schaick; sisters, Paula (Dean) Sosnoski and Julie (Jim) Wendt; and her brother, Bill (Betsy) Plummer; along with many special nieces and nephews that she loved dearly. They fondly thought of her as the 'fun' aunt.
Jane was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Joan Plummer; and her dear sister, Kay Plummer-Bodway.
Honoring Jane's wishes, there will be no formal funeral service. A family Celebration of Life was held on Christmas Day.
Jane's family would like to express their sincere gratitude, to the staff in the ICU at Aurora Medical Center-Oshkosh, for the special care and professional attention given to our beloved, Jane. She was a wonderful, caring person that will be dearly missed by all that knew and loved her.
