Jean A. Baker, age 83, of Oshkosh, passed away at home with her family at her side on Sunday, January 3, 2016. She was born in Oshkosh on November 2, 1932 the daughter of the late Abner and Josephine (Unmuth) Barndt. On July 21, 1956 he married Fred Baker in Oshkosh. Jean loved her family and was an excellent homemaker. She enjoyed reading, fishing, play cards, and bingo. Jean will be remembered for her kindness to others. Jean is survived by her husband, Fred; children: Sandy Binder and Phil Baker; grandchildren: John (Kiley) Binder and Amanda (Alex) Luaders; great-grandson, Aiden Luaders; sister, Joann Christiansen; and sisters-in-law: Patricia Barndt. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers and sisters: Robert Barndt, Raymond (Frances) Barndt and Elizabeth (Robert) Brown; and brother-in-law, Donald Christiansen. Inurnment will take place at a later time at Lakeview Memorial Park, Oshkosh.
