Jimmy "Fester" Walter Blue Jr., age 30, passed away unexpectedly on September 7, 2025, in Oshkosh, WI. He was born on December 6, 1994, to parents, Jimmy Walter and Angel Clara (Messer) Blue Sr., in Michigan.
He graduated from Oshkosh North High School in 2013. He worked for many years as a certified nursing assistant in the healthcare field and more recently as a technician at SERVPRO.
Jimmy enjoyed working on his cars, listening to music, gaming, cooking on the grill and living in the moment. He loved to learn about fish and how to take care of their habitats and continued to take care of many freshwater fish in his home. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family and friends. He will be remembered for being able to make anyone laugh at any time, his kindness and his patience and connection with kids- especially his own and his nieces.
He is survived by his mother, Angel; father, Jimmy Blue Sr.; significant other, Vicki Benavidez; son, Amileo E. Blue; siblings, Derek Enos, Stephanie (Dean S.) Blue and Alex J. Grapentine; nieces, Amerie and Lacy L. Sikora; best friend, Nick Parker; and many other cousins, aunts, uncles and friends.
Preceding him in death were his maternal grandparents, Charles and Jean Messer; paternal grandparents, Isaac and Joyce Blue; and best friend, Dustin Kaufert.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 20, 2025, at the Oshkosh Senior Center North, 200 N. Campbell Rd., Oshkosh, WI, 54902, from 11:30am to 3:00pm. To honor Jimmy, please feel free to wear flannel and if you have any pictures or stories to share, please bring them with you.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established in his honor. The family would like to recognize and send a sincere thank you to Ana Marie Ramon and Glenn Willis for their help and family support, Doctor Connor Medbery for being the only one to help Jimmy when others turned him away, as well as Jeffrey Grapentine, for doing CPR and stepping up in a time of need.
