Jo Ann E. Kahut, age 84, passed away on Thursday, October 13, 2022 at Evergreen Manor. She was born in Milwaukee on November 30, 1937, the daughter of the late Joseph and Eleanora (Schrieber) Baillargeon. On November 30, 1957 she married Le Roy Kahut at St. Anthony Church in Milwaukee. He preceded her in death on January 15, 1987. Jo Ann drove school bus in Milwaukee for many years. She also worked at Sterns and Electric where she met Le Roy, and then for Counts Enterprise when they moved to Oshkosh. She enjoyed camping, and was known to be an Elvis fanatic. Jo Ann will be remembered for being good to people and made friends easily, and also lent a helping hand whenever she could.

Jo Ann is survived by her daughter, Debra Kahut; brother and sisters: Elaine (Don), Joyce (Roger), Joey (Phyllis), Mary (Dale) and Sandy (Bill). She was preceded in death by her husband, Le Roy; and sisters: Yvonne (Herb), Diane and Carol.

Her cremated remains will be scattered in Lakeview Memorial Park.
