JOAN CERRA July 28, 1934 – June 24, 2021
Joan Cerra, 80-year resident of Eagle River passed away peacefully on June 24, 2021. Preceded in death by parents, Benjamin and Violet Juve, brothers Ray and Bob, husband Victor, son Rick, and son-in-law, Mike Merkes. Survived by children Cherie Merkes and Bernard(Jane)Cerra. Grandchildren Kate and Matt(Amanda) Cerra, Michelle Merkes (Brandon)Dei, and Geoffrey (fiancee' Samantha) Merkes. Great –grandchildren Harper, Carter, and Parker Dei, life-long friend, Joyce Boettcher, grand-dogs, Sam and Rosie and Myrtle and many nieces and nephews in Canada and the US. Joan was an excellent cook and baker. She was a beloved "lunch-lady" at Northland Pines. Her infectious smile, warm and giving personality will be sorely missed.
