Obituary
John Herrera II, age 67, passed away unexpectedly at home on May 20, 2024, in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. He was born to parents, John and Betty "Elizabeth" (Warner) Herrera on May 18, 1957, in Oregon.
After college, John was able to visit and work in many interesting areas as being an arborist by trade and climbed up trees until recently. He worked in Alaska, Nevada, Oregon, California, New Mexico, and Wisconsin, to mention a few. His work ethic was top notch, he always made sure things were left clean, beautiful, and better than before.
John fathered nine children and was very family oriented. He is described as being kind, generous, funny, a superman to many. He could always make someone smile. Every time he saw a less fortunate person, he would take food and drinks to cheer them up. He also took care of his special friend Christine for many years until she passed.
He is survived by his children, Faedra, Keenan, Ana, Demitri, John Ready, Isiah, Olivia and Zacharias; siblings, Kristi, Shannon, Charmaine, Tony, Alonzo, Joaquine and Shayne; as well as many nieces, nephews and special friends.
Preceding him in death was his parents, John and Betty "Elizabeth" (Warner) Herrera; and special friend Christine.
A Celebration of Life may take place at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in his honor.
The family would also like to thank his good friends, Anthony (Jada) Padua, Mark Jacques, and Willena Malley for all their continued support.
