Jonie Marie Mathiesen, age 37, peacefully passed away at home, surrounded by her loving family, on Monday, January 3, 2022. She was born in Marshfield, WI on February 1, 1984, the daughter of Donna Mae Bade. On April 2, 2005, Jonie married the love of her life and husband of 16 years, Michael Mathiesen. Jonie loved to crochet. She loved her family, but most especially, loved being a Mom.

Jonie is survived by her husband, Mike; children: Jonathan and Nevaeh; mother, Donna Mae Bade; brother, Buster Robinson; niece, Brittany Sanders; and numerous relatives and friends. She was loved by all who knew her.

A celebration of Jonie's life will be held at a later date.

The Mathiesen family would like to thank Jonie's at home care nurse, Leslie, and the staff at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center-Appleton and the Berlin EMS. Finally, thank you to friends and family who have supported Mike, Donna and the kids during this difficult time, especially Lori Mathiesen.
