It is with heavy hearts that we share the unexpected passing of Joshua Joel Edson, 28, of Oshkosh, WI, on April 14, 2025.Josh was born on September 4, 1996, to Jay and Linda Edson. Those who knew Josh knew he was endlessly kind, soft-hearted, and generous. Josh cherished his family and took immense pride in being an uncle. His nieces were his world, and he never missed an opportunity to make them laugh or show them how much he cared.Josh had a vibrant passion for life, which shone through his many hobbies. He found joy in listening to music, attending concerts, and immersing himself in Pokemon. Cooking was another treasured hobby of Josh's. He enjoyed creating meals, cooking for himself and others, and trying new dishes whenever he could. Josh also found serenity in nature, whether fishing or camping under the stars, he enjoyed the peace of being disconnected from the world. When it came to video games, Josh enjoyed playing with his friends. His hobbies reflected his kind heart and a zest for life, and they brought smiles to all who shared them with him.Josh is survived by his loving parents, Jay and Linda Edson; his brother, Jeremy (Renee) Edson; and his beloved nieces, Emilia and Olivia. He is also survived by his grandmother, Colleen Edson, along with many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
