Judith “Judy” Meyer, age 83, passed away on June 10, 2026, in Oshkosh, WI. She was born to parents, William and Edna (Kumbier) Hewitt, on February 16, 1943, in Pickett, WI. Judy was blessed to have a bonus father, Albert Nitz as well.

She graduated from Ripon high School and knew she wanted to find a job that she could help others at. Judy dedicated many years of service at Bethel Home. 

In her free time, she enjoyed cooking and gardening, loved decorating for all of the holidays and hanging out with friends and her faithful dog, Abby.

She is survived by her children, Kim (Kurt) Kohnert and Russell Paulus; stepsons, Larry (Lynn) Paulus and Steve (Stacy) Paulus; granddaughter, Rachael (Chris) Meyer; step-granddaughter, Nicole (Nathan) Vandermause; great-grandchildren, Lincoln, Calahan, Conrad and Ida; several cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. She is further survived by sister, Carol Miller; brother, Robert (Jean) Hewitt; three half-brothers, Russell (Linda) Nitz, Fred (Joanne) Nitz and Gary Nitz; and good friends, Cathy and Cindy.

Preceding her in death were her parents; brother, Jim Hewitt; stepdaughter, Kathleen Hoppe; stepbrother, Larry Nitz; and brother-in-law, Robert Miller.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 25, 2026, from 900am-1000am, with a 10:00am service and indoor inurnment, at Lake View Memorial Park Cemetery Chapel, Oshkosh, WI.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established in her honor.
