Obituary

Judy Lynn (Kunde) Peck passed away at home on Sunday, March 24, 2024, surrounded by family. Judy was born on January 25 th 1960, to Richard F. & Barbara A. (Kilbey) Kunde. She gave birth to her only child in July, 1982. Judy then found the love of her life in 1992 and they finally married on October 26 th 2023, after being together for 32 years.

She went on to have many jobs throughout her life including being a waitress, housekeeper at Mercy Medical Center, seamstress at Oshkosh 'B Gosh and Gunderson cleaners, 14 years in food service at UW Oshkosh, but her most cherished job was being a caregiver & guardian to her niece Jeri-Ann.

Judy had a passion for nature. She would plant and garden every spring, harvesting her tomatoes for homemade chili and berries for jam. She would feed all the neighborhood animals from birds to squirrels and opossums. She even has a Bat house to keep bugs at bay. Her backyard is like stepping into the woods around Snow White's cottage. Pure magic.

When she wasn't gardening, Judy loved spoiling her dog Astra, making delicate doilies and bookmarks via the dying art of tatting (knot making), but Halloween was her favorite holiday and decorating her house would take days and got bigger and bigger every year.

Judy is survived by Husband, James (Jim) Peck; Daughter, Stephanie-Rose Hillhouse (John F. Barclay V); Granddaughter, Taytum Revels (Bryce Kruml); Estranged Sister, Linda Hall (Kunde); Sisters, Sharon LaPointe, Eileen Mauritz, Dawn (Randy) Laatsch, Jane (Mike) Cerutti; Brother, Jim (Diane) Kunde; Many Nieces, Nephews, and Great Nephews; Special Niece, Jeri-Ann Kunde; Son "she never had", Josh Bartow; Surrogate Grandsons, Gaven Budelier & Xander Thede; Lifelong friend, Sandy (Sam) Hillard.

Preceded in death by Parents, Richard F. and Barbara A. (Kilbey) Kunde; Sister, Donna Jean Kunde; Nephew, William (Buzz) LaPointe Jr.; and Close Friend, Veronica Beasley.
