Obituary
Julie Marie Kutz-Guitzkow, age 74, passed away with her family by her side on August 4, 2025, in Omro, WI. She was born on August 27, 1950, to parents, Vernon J. and Mary A. (Schultz) Johnson, in Madison, WI.
In 1972, she married Leslie W. Kutz, in Arlington, WI. Together, they had two children, Jason and Jeremy. They spent several years together until his passing in 1988. She was lucky enough to find love a second time with David Guitzkow. They married on June 18, 1994, in WI. Their families joined and she added another son, Tom.
She enjoyed taking long drives in the countryside, listening to old country and 60's and 70's music. You could often find her in the kitchen baking her famous tater tot casserole. Most of all, she loved spending time with the littles, her grandchildren and her family in Madison.
Julie is survived by her husband, David Guitzkow; children, Jason (Siobhan) Kutz, Jeremy (Lindsey) Kutz and Tom (Kay) Guitzkow; grandchildren, Jace, Jaylee, Cailin, Cashton, Joel and Henry; sister, Krista (Jim) Mraz; brothers, Paul (Shelly) Johnson and Jon (Laura) Johnson; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Preceding her in death was her first husband, Leslie Kutz; parents, Vernon J. and Mary A. (Schultz) Johnson; stepfather, Roy Liddecoat; brother, Jim Johnson; and her very special grandma, Margaret "Gangi" Adamac.
Per her wishes, no formal services will be held. A celebration of life will be held later on, please feel free to check back for more information in the future. Her final resting place will be at Greenwood Cemetery, Arlington, WI.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established in her honor.
The family would like to thank ThedaCare Hospice, St. Croix Hospice, Lakeland Care and the staff at County Villa for all of their care and compassion over the years.
