Obituary
Karel Lyn (Swiertz) Evers, age 54, passed away after a wonderful life, at home with her family at her side after a courageous battle with cancer on April 15, 2024.
She will be remembered for her remarkable patience, kindness, and loving nature. She made the simple joys of life extraordinary. She will be deeply missed by everyone who knew her.
Karel is survived by her mother, Linda Swiertz; husband, Richard Evers; children, Nickole (Ise Israel) Evers-Swiertz, Amanda Evers, Amber Evers and James Evers; grandchildren, Aiden Evers and Baylen Evers; siblings, Jamie Mrozinsky and Eric Swiertz; and many nieces, nephews, aunties, uncles, cousins and In-laws.
Preceding her in death was her father, Charlie Swiertz; and grandparents, Marvin and Lois Rustad.
The funeral will be a private in-person ceremony with close family members on Saturday, April 27, 2024. However, everyone is invited to use a link to live-stream the ceremony at 11:00 am at https://www.youtube.com/@oursaviorslutheran-neenah8236
A public Celebration of Life will also be held on Saturday, April 27, 2024 from 12:00pm to 3:00pm at Cannova's, 113 W Wisconsin Ave., Neenah, WI 54956. The family invites anyone who knew Karel to attend and honor her wonderful life. If attending the celebration, the family would love for you to bring photos and memories to share and leave.
