Karen "Cookie" A. Chopp, age 78, passed away on January 13, 2021. She was born in Milwaukee on November 1, 1942 the daughter of the late Henry and Mardell (Barg) Mardell. Karen worked at First Wisconsin Bank as an office manager during her working years. She enjoyed her time up north, playing POGO, and spending time with her family and friends. Karen will be remembered for her witty sense of humor.

She is survived by her children: Linda (Thomas) Walsh and Jeffrey (Kristy) Chopp; grandchildren: Kayla Chopp, Tiffany Walsh, Evan Chopp, Jamie Walsh, Daniel Chopp and Matthew Chopp; great-grandson, Bentley Gamble; brother, Dennis Zebell; niece, Theresa (Peter) Lorincz; and brother-in-law, Tom Chopp. She was preceded in death by her parents; and former spouse, William Chopp.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
