Kathleen Ann Dawson (1951 - 2011)

Kathleen Ann Dawson, age 59, of Oshkosh, passed away in her home on Wednesday, August 24, 2011.

Kathy was born September 12, 1951 in Dickenson, ND. She was the daughter of Gordon and Mary Ann (Marquardt) Perkins.

Kathy was a mother at heart, earning her the name "Mama D" by many who loved her. She was a blessing to the children she cared for through her daycare services and cherished spending time with her children and seven grandchildren. She was an avid reader and enjoyed reading and relaxing with her cat, Angel, by her side. She took pride in her home that she lovingly decorated with family keepsakes, with her own special touch.

Kathy is survived by her three sons, Kevin (Jennifer Neumeier) Dawson, Keith (Amanda) Dawson and Kacey (Alissa) Dawson, all of Oshkosh; seven grandchildren, Kourtney, Kailey, Parks, Raven, Kaden, Kristian and Dakota; four brothers Kenneth (Barbara) Perkins, Russell (Yonk-Ok) Krogh, Don (Marcie) Krogh and Stephen (Linda) Krogh. She was preceded in death by her father Gordon Perkins, mother Mary Ann (Marquardt) Perkins, her sister Karen Perkins and the father of her three children, Glenn Dawson.

Visitation will be held on Monday, August 29th from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. with Funeral Services following from 12:00 – 1:00 p.m. at Lakeview Memorial 2786 Algoma Boulevard
Oshkosh, WI 54901. Lunch will follow.

Kathy was a confidant to many and her loving compassion will be greatly missed.
