Obituary
Kathleen Kalisch, age 82, of Omro, Wisconsin, passed away on May 15, 2025. She was born on September 24, 1942, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, the daughter of Robert and Helen Rozewicz.
She attended St. Joseph's Catholic High School in Milwaukee. After school, she started her family, raising seven children. Her passion was taking care of others. She spent over 40 years working in healthcare as a Certified Nursing Assistant until her retirement in 2007.
Kathy enjoyed reading, collecting gnomes and various items at garage sales, and crocheting afghans, blankets and scarves for family and friends. She will be remembered for being independent and stern but kind.
She is survived by her children, Melody Jacobson, Dianne (Rick) Ringelstetter, Dale (Michelle) Jacobson, Rick Jacobson, Larry (Shari) Jacobson and Keith Kalisch; 14 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Robert and Helen Rozewicz; son, Scott Jacobson; granddaughter, Ashley Kirchoffner; and siblings, George Rozewicz, Mark Rozewicz and Barbara Huck.
A private family gathering will be held on a future date. In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established in her honor.
The family would like to thank Jane Ingalls, for her friendship, love and care she has given to Kathy over the years.
