Kathy Ann Hauer, age 67, of Oshkosh, passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of her family. She was born March 19, 1950, in Oshkosh, the daughter of Marvin and Patricia O'Neil. She lived life to its fullest. Her greatest joy was spending time with her daughters and grandchildren. For the last 18 years, she has been with the love of her life, Ned Geerdts. Kathy never met a casino she didn't like and also loved watching QVC, while reading her Arche Comic Books. She had a heart of gold and touched everyone she came in contact with, including her best friend, Jill Schultz, whom she would often go on long walks with. A lover of travel, she would often go on trips with a friend of the family, Brian, and grandson Jacob. Kathy is survived by her daughters, Letha (Corby) Harbor of Neenah and Pamela (fiancé Jimmy Millane) Papenfuss of Oak Creek; five grandsons, Kaleb Sobey, Nikolaas Sobey, and Noah Sobey, all of Neenah; Jacob Papenfuss and Ben Millane, both of Oak Creek; four sisters, Gloria (Tommy) Prindle of Appleton, Donna (Steven Hermus) Cole of Oshkosh, Peggy (Thomas) Thrun of Sun Prairie, and Sandra (Richard) de St Aubin of Berlin; a brother, Bruce O'Neil of Oshkosh; her step-mother, Barbara O'Neil of Oshkosh; 5 nephews and 2 nieces; and the love of her life for the last 18 years, Ned Geerdts. Preceding Kathy in death are her parents and two nephews. The family would like to thank everyone at Marian Manor, Heartland Hospice, and Fox Valley Hematology and Oncology. A Celebration of Life for Kathy will be held on Saturday, May 13, 2017, from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. at Marian Manor, 600 Merritt Ave., in Oshkosh.
