Obituary
Kenneth "Ken" James Hands, age 95, passed away on April 20, 2025, in Omro, Wisconsin. He was born on October 12, 1929, to parents, Clifford and Helen (Wittersheim) Hands, in Melrose Park, Illinois.
From April 1948 to April 1952, and during the Korean War, he proudly served in the United States Air Force.
On May 8, 1953, he married the love of his life, Lorraine Hoskins. Together, they raised two children.
Ken held several positions in the police department. Most recently, he enjoyed helping raise funding for the Illinois Police Association and children's programs. In his free time, her would go fishing, hunting, camping and growing his garden.
He is survived by his daughter, Cindy L. Moran; son, Jeff (Kristen) Hands; grandchildren, Jenna Moran, Ryan (Madison) Moran, Sean (Elizabeth) Moran, and Stephanie Hands; as well as many other family and friends.
Preceding him in death was his loving wife of 64 years, Lorraine Hands (September 13, 2017).
