Obituary
Kristin Kaye Hartman of Oshkosh, WI, age 51, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, June 15, 2025, at Aurora Bay Care Hospital, Green Bay, WI. She was born on October 12, 1973, in Tucson, AZ, to parents, David D. and Carla J. (Zager) Hartman.
Kristin always had a passion for learning. After high school, she continued with her education at UW-Oshkosh, obtaining her Bachelor's and Master's degrees. Anyone who knew Kristin would know you'd want her on your team in trivia; if no one knew the answer, Kristin definitely did.
Most recently, she spent her days working at Aurora Health Care as a patient services representative in Urgent Care. This inspired her recent studies in Human Services at UW-Oshkosh.
In her free time, Kristin loved working in her garden, actively volunteering in the community, and spending time with her fur babies. She always had her yard filled with beautiful plants and flowers. Kristin thrived on helping others and giving back to the community, as she was graceful and compassionate. She had a wonderful ability to create many extended families within her community. Kristin loved spending time with her people, enjoying time in the sun, and showering those around her with so much love.
She is survived by her daughter, Genevieve "Gigi" Youngbauer; mother, Carla J. (Zager) Miller; siblings, Cassandra Hartman-Craig, Nancy Apkarian, Charles "Chuck" (Sandra) Apkarian and Heidi (Dan) (Hartman) Hagen; aunts and uncles, Carol (Zager) Haydock, Charlotte (Bill) (Zager) Mihalek, Cassandra (Derek) (Zager) Beuth, Lynn Hartman, Pam (Gary) (Hartman) Wunderlich and Katy (Tom) (Hartman) Valine; fur babies, Bruno, Suki, Valentino, and Baby Kitty; as well as many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Preceding her in death were her father, David Hartman; grandmothers, Darlene (Watt) Hartman and Ruth (Mueller) Mech; grandfathers, Burdette Hartman and Carlton Zager; aunt, Christine Patterson (Zager); uncle, Bryon Hartman and cousin, Bryan Mihalek.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday August 2, 2025, at 5068 Washington St, Butte De Morts, WI 54927.
In lieu of flowers, please feel free to donate to your local Humane Society in Kristin's honor. The family would like to especially thank the staff from Aurora Medical Center in Oshkosh and Aurora BayCare in Green Bay for their excellence in going above and beyond in the care of Kristin and her family.
