Larry August Ruedinger, 79, of Oshkosh, WI, passed away on September 21st, surrounded by his loving family.
He was born on November 24
th
, 1945, in Oshkosh, WI, the son of August Ruedinger and Lorraine (Dittmer) Ruedinger.
Larry graduated from Lourdes
Academy in 1963. Larry
was drafted into the Army in 1965 during the Vietnam war. He was a Spec 5 in the 18
th
Airborne Division and served until he was honorably discharged in 1967.
Upon being discharged from the Army, Larry worked as a foreman at Mercury Marine in Fond du Lac until his retirement.
Some of Larry's favorite hobbies included playing golf, sheepshead and riding his motorcycle. Larry was a huge fan of the Green Bay Packers, Milwaukee Brewers and Milwaukee Bucks.
Remaining to cherish Larry's memory is his significant other, Ginny Sommers; sons, Paul (Teresa) Ruedinger and Bob Ruedinger; granddaughters, Rachel (Devin) Czech and Anna (Alex) Schuh; great-grandson, Danny Czech; siblings, Nancy Muraski, Barbara Patrie and Leroy (Pat) Ruedinger along with many, many beloved nieces and nephews.
Preceding Larry in death are his parents, August and Lorraine Ruedinger; and brother, Roger (Claudia) Ruedinger.
Per Larry's wishes, a private Celebration of Life will be held for family and close friends at a later date.
