Laura D. LaPoint, age 75, passed away on May 31, 2021. She was born in Michigan on March 1, 1946 the daughter of the late Howard and Virginia (Blattert) Lovegrove. On June 2, 1983 she married her loving husband, Gerald LaPoint, who preceded her in death on November 12, 2020. Laura was a housekeeping supervisor for Shady Lane Nursing Home in Kenosha for many years. She loved to look for treasures at thrift stores. Laura will be remembered for being outspoken and honest.

Laura is survived by her children: Lisa Docter, Daniel (Wendy) Gray and Heather Gray; nine grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren with one on the way; sisters: Ginger (Alfred) Lovegrove, Beverly (Irving) Goeschel and Fran Barens; and long-time friend, LaVerne Larsen. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald; son, Jimmy; brothers: David and Jim Lovegrove; sister: Alana Lovegrove and Marilyn Schwimmer; and sister-in-law, Florence Lovegrove.

A visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 12:00 p.m. on Monday, June 7, 2021 at Fox Cities Funeral and Cremation Services. Burial will be in Peace Lutheran Cemetery, Oshkosh.
