Laurali A. Obara, age 58, of Princeton passed away at home on October 13, 2011. Laurali was born June 17, 1953 in Glendale, California to Roy and Betty (Baldwin) Salls. She grew up in California, went to St. Joseph's Hospital, School of Radiology there. She married Craig Obara on June 29, 1971. Laurali worked in Diagnostic Imaging for over 29 years at Berlin Hospital, then as an ultrasound tech at Ripon Hospital for five years. Laurali loved going to work and doing her job. She enjoyed sewing and quilting. She loved to spend hours in her flower garden. Laurali was a kind person who never had a harsh word about anyone, and was always willing to give a helping hand to anyone who needed her.

Laurali is survived by her husband and best friend, Craig; her sons, Jason of Princeton and Erick of Orlando, Florida; her grandchildren, Malachi Stone Obara and Summer Stone; her mother, Betty Salls; her brothers, Jim (Jane) Salls and Victor (Debbie) Salls, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A Memorial Service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, October 20, 2011 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church at 1211 W. Main St., Princeton.
