LeRoy H. Regan, age 85, passed away on May 9, 2025, in Oshkosh, WI. He was born on January 19, 1940, to parents Daniel and Mildred (Zickuhr) Regan, in WI.
He graduated from Hartford High School and married his high school sweetheart, Dawn Radke in 1962, in West Bend, WI. Together, they raised three children.
LeRoy also proudly served his country in the United States Navy for four years. He was a computer programmer and had the highest clearance available working at the Pentagon. After he returned to civilian life, he worked at the Cutler Hammer Corp. His longest employment was at Lincoln Elementary School in Hartford, WI, until his retirement.
He loved to sing, while in the service he was part of the Blue Jacket Choir Club and later in the Bel Canto Choir in Milwaukee. He was able to donate bone marrow to a 13-year-old girl, who later came to meet and thank him as an adult. LeRoy also enjoyed fishing, cooking on the grill and watching game shows. He could often be found rooting on any Wisconsin sports team such as the Packers, Brewers and Badgers.
LeRoy is survived by his wife, Dawn Regan; children, Rex (Delilah) Regan, Rob (Cindy) Regan and Rebecca (Bob) Luebker; 7 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Preceding him in death was his parents, Daniel and Mildred (Zickuhr) Regan; 2 brothers; and his beloved King Charles Spaniel, Kitty.
A private family service has been held.
