Leslie A. Johnston, age 29, of Oshkosh, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by the love of her family on Friday, April 1, 2011. Leslie was born on November 11, 1981, in Coupeville, Washington to John and Ann (Kordatzky) Johnston. She graduated from Oshkosh North High School. Leslie was an avid reader, she enjoyed watching movies, listening to music, fishing and traveling with her family, and making jewelry. She loved flowers, animals, especially horses, babies and little children. Leslie was very social, she was fun and a joy to be around. She touched many lives.
Leslie is loved and will be missed by her parents John and Ann, of Oshkosh; her brother and best friend, Kurt, of Oshkosh; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins; and many friends. She was preceded in death by her grandparents.
A service to celebrate Leslie's life will be held at LaSure's Banquet Hall, 3125 S. Washburn St., Oshkosh, on Sunday, April 17, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. with a time of gathering after the service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial is being established in Leslie's name for A-T Children's Project, so that others may be helped. The Johnston family would like to thank Dr. Susan Szabo for her years of exceptional care, and all the other caregivers who helped throughout the years.
