Obituary
Lois "Susie" M. Steinhilber, age 81, passed away unexpectedly, on January 7, 2024, in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. She was born on June 9, 1942, to parents, Lester and Lucy (Raab) Steinhilber, in Marshfield, Wisconsin.
Susie loved all animals and made them her life mission. She enjoyed paging through her many cookbooks, watching cooking shows, and then creating her own recipes. She could also often be found outdoors, especially at "The Williow," her special place in Redgranite. She will be remembered for being kind and giving. She cared and helped all she knew and touched so many lives. She retired after a life long career with Wisconsin Bell Telephone Company.
She is survived by her daughters, Cathy, Donna and Terrie Cummings; grandchildren, Adam, Tyler, Kelly and Stephanie; three great-grandchildren, Alexandra, Reagan and Reid; brother, Lee (Janis) Steinhilber; nieces, Jeannie, and Julie; nephews, David, and Mark; and many very special close relatives and friends that meant the world to her.
Preceding her in death are her parents, Lester and Lucy (Raab) Steinhilber; and grandparents, Anthony and Mary Raab.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 31, 2024, at St. Raphael the Archangel Church, 830 S. Westhaven Dr., Oshkosh, WI, from 9:30am to 11:00am, with service to follow.
In lieu of flowers, Susie would be honored to have donations sent to the Oshkosh Humane Society in her remembrance.
