Loren C. Monroe "Skeezie", age 50 of Oshkosh, passed away November 9, 2016, at Aurora Medical Center, surrounded by the love of his family. Skeezie was born March 24, 1966, in Oshkosh to Daniel and Janet (Basiliere) Monroe. He graduated from Oshkosh West High School the Class of 1984. He owned and operated Skizee's Plowing Service. Skeezie was loved and will be missed by his brothers, Dennis (Jill), Kenneth (Barbara), Daniel, Jr. (Leanne), and Timothy (Krissy); his sisters, Victoria (Dean) Pongratz, Sandra (Dick) Savka, Rosealee (Charles) Miller, Christine Monroe, Lorna (Gary) Yarock and Dora Murphy; 27 nieces and nephews; extended family, Robin (Chris) Standke, Codi (Kyle) Howard, grandchildren, Sophie and Isabelle; his godchildren, Shawn Monroe, Lucas and Ethan Monroe; other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Charles.A Memorial Service will be held at St. Andrews Lutheran Church, 1100 E. Murdock Ave., Oshkosh on Saturday, November 19, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Karen Jewell officiating. A time of visitation will be held at the church on November 19, 2016 from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Loren will be laid to rest in the Poy Sippi Cemetery. The family would like to thank Chacette Buchanan for the angel help she provided to Skeezie, and Dick Savka for the lifelong friendship and care of Skeezie.Flying on the wings of a butterfly.
