Laurel was Born to Life on June 5, 1959. Born to Eternal Life on July 21, 2024. She is preceeded in death by her parents, Robert and Fern, brothers Richard and Roger Pierquet. Left behind to keep her memory alive are her children Richard (Hope) and Deagan (Alex Schwartz), and grandchildren Mallorie, Violet, Benjamin, Lily and Noah.

She recieved her Doctorate of Psychology from The Wisconsin School of Professional Psychology in 1997. Laurel's greatest joy was to spend time with her children and grandchildren at the cabin in Door County.
