Obituary

Lyle E. Koch "Tiny", age 86, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 24, 2018 at Parkview Health Center.

He was born to Peter and Erma Koch on June 10, 1931 in Two Rivers, WI. He was married to Doris Heisler on August 25, 1956 in Oshkosh. He worked at Paine Lumber Co. for many years, and went on to work as a finishing carpenter with Morgan Doors until retirement in 1998.

Lyle was gifted athlete at Two Rivers High School, lettering all four years in football, track, and baseball. He was a State Record Holder in shotput and discus. Lyle joined the Air Force immediately after high school and served in the Korean War. He received numerous commendations and medals for his service and was honorably discharged in 1954.

As a young father, Lyle was active in the Boy Scouts acting as Assistant Scout Leader of Troop 47. Lyle called bingo for years at Sacred Heart Church. He enjoyed playing golf, playing dart-ball, going on family vacations, going to his grandchildren's various events, and following the Packers and Badgers.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Peter and Erma; wife, Doris; two infant daughters, Mary and Ann; sister, Maybelle; brother-in-law, Richard Waskow; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Barbara & Charlie Wagner; and special friend, Jane Wysocki.

He is survived by sons, Peter Sr. (Bonnie) and Paul (Renee); daughter, Jill (Lance) Lehmann; sister, Vivian (Richard) Waskow; brother, Richard; and Grandchildren, Peter Jr., Joseph, Delaney, Evan Lehmann and Jack Lehmann. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and great-grandchildren.
Per Lyle's wishes there will not be a service. A celebration of life gathering will be held at a future date.
