Obituary
Maisi Lyn Schrauth, age 39, passed away on Friday, March 31, 2023, at her home in Neenah, WI surrounded by family and friends after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Wausau, WI on February 1, 1984, the daughter of Conrad Harris and Debra Meilahn (Schillak-Harris). Maisi married the love of her life, Jamie Schrauth, on July 28, 2007, at The Grand Theater in Wausau, WI.
Maisi graduated from D.C. Everest High School in 2002 and went on to attend the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh earning a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, and a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology from Cardinal Stritch University. She began her career at Lutheran Social Services. During her 15 years, through hard work and dedication Maisi became the Regional Director of community-based programs. Maisi's most recent position was as the Manager of Behavioral Health at Theda Care, where she worked until her passing.
Maisi is survived by her loving husband, Jamie, and their two beautiful daughters, Sophia and Alivia, whom she treasured more than anything else in the world. Maisi also leaves behind her father, Conrad (Jill) Harris, her mother, Debra Meilahn (Cliff Goldade), her sisters, Taylor Harris, and Jessica (Dan) Goralski, her In-laws, Frederick and Coral Schrauth, her sister-in-law Jeanette Schrauth, her nieces, Samantha and Cailyn, and her nephews, Jacob, Dayton, and Owen.
Maisi was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, James and Ramona Schillak, and her paternal grandparents Elwin and Verlaine Harris.
Though Maisi is no longer with us, her unwavering commitment to her family, friends, and career will stay alive in the hearts and minds of those who knew her best. Maisi will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and colleagues. The impact she had on those around her will never be forgotten.
The family of Maisi would like to extend a special thank you for all the love, care, and support throughout this difficult time. There are no words to describe how thankful we are for everything that everyone has done for Maisi and her family.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date to honor Maisi's life and legacy.
