Marian M. Roberts, age 83 of Oshkosh, passed away November 22, 2008 at Oakwood Manor. She was born in Raymondville Texas on July 16, 1925 the daughter of the late Henry and Augusta (Kieke) Krause. Marian enjoyed spending time with her grandkids, sewing, traveling, reading and taking care of everyone in her family, putting their needs before hers. God was the focus in her life, and was actively involved with New Life Community Church. Marian is survived by her daughter and son-in-law; Joyce (Frank) Jakubowski, five grandchildren; Charles "Chuck" (Beth) Davis, Marvin Davis, James "Jim"(Julie) Davis, Renee Davis, Stephanie (Bill) Borkowicz, nine great-grandchildren; Zach, Amber, Alayna, Sarah, Ian, Skyller, Caleb, Anna and Miles, two sisters; Darlene (Bill) Dieck and Bernice Meredith, two brothers; Herbert (Lottie) Krause and Harry (Evelyn) Krause, nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends and very special friend Alyth Dell. She was preceded in death by her two husbands; James Roberts and Paul Preboski, two sons; James and Glenn, one brother; Albert, and one sister Dorothy. Funeral Services for Marian will be held on Tuesday November 25, 2008 at 11:00 am at New Life Community Church with Dr. Mark Elliott officiating. Visitation will be held at the church on Tuesday from 9:30 am until time of services. Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, a memorial is being established in Marian's name. A special thanks to the staff at Oakwood Manor and hospice nurse Jennifer for all the wonderful care that was given to Marian and her family.
